After several years of being loyal to Hyatt, I am switching to Starwood. I sent in the fax to be comp'd to Platinum to begin my stays at Starwood. Had a few questions:

1) Does starwood have anything similar to Hyatt's Faster Free Nights (2 Stays gets you a free night)

2) Does starwood have any sort of "Partner Bonus" - At Hyatt you got 300 extra points (not miles) for flying a Partner Airline into the city.

3) Any other advise/pointers for a Starwood newbie??
