Am very puzzled by this. LHR must be operating at what, 25% of capacity at the moment? Why are things being timed to the second then in terms of approach spacing that seems to necessitate exiting the runway as early as possible after landing?
I wasn't puzzled, although I was surprised. The reduction in arrivals appears to be resulting is less stacking around London without much difference in the way of spaced out approaches. It could be I've been looking at pinch point times of the day on FR24 but the approach to LHR always seems to be fairly constant whenever I do so.
