It's always fun in those situations catching unsecured belongings from passengers sat further behind as they slip off seats and down towards the row 1 bulkhead - I'd have about 20 iPads and pairs of glasses now if I hadn't stopped them with my size 11's and passed them back over the seats to their concerned owners!
Restrictions might explain it. The BA1492 bringing me back up to Glasgow last night had rolled to the top of the runway before the preceding VS flight (to HKG) had rotated (just). Thankfully we then sat on the runway for a couple of minutes - i'm guessing to minimise any wake issues. It did make me wonder if they were looking for as tight flowthrough of aircraft as they could.
