Would you consider doing both? You could easily do 5 nights at the LM then 10 nights at the STR/RC/W. We are doing something similar but 5 nights LM, 5 nights STR, and 5 nights Park Hyatt.
Right now, booking split stays in the Maldives is risky. If either resort is under contact tracing for Covid, only international arrivals and departures are permitted. As of 5/31, most of the big resorts are under contact tracing.
