But what makes you certain that the interior mods were done while in RFD and that the planes weren't just there in storage? I don't think AC has ever said anything about that.

I thought A330 maintenance was going to occur in Quebec as well (part of the bail out?).
Nothing in the bailout about maintenance. AC committed to maintaining employment levels, and completing the acquisition of at least 33 A220s.
