1000 +Ps is a LOT. As a GS you should be able to burn them more easily than others. TATL/TPAC flights are very easy upgrades these days, so not sure why you would say that PEK is not an option. Also keep in mind that you can use +Ps also on LH and NH, however, only really good value for upgrades J --> F
There is a chance that UA will once again extend 1/31/22 expiring +Ps, but tough to tell if they will and when.
