Entry to Sweden is currently permitted if you arrive from an EEA or Schengen country, but you must show a recent covid-19 test. Danes are free to go to Sweden, so transit through Sweden when going from Copenhagen to Bornholm is permitted. There was a time when most entry from Denmark to Sweden was banned. Shortly after that ban was implemented, there was an exemption for these trips, so it's possible that these trips also were exempted from the test requirement.
The rules are changing so that you no longer need a recent test when arriving from a Nordic country, so Danes will no longer need to present a test at the Swedish border.
Thanks. An acquaintance of mine returned from Bornholm to Copenhagen just today and tested ahead, it turns out. Along these lines, it sure would be nice if an American spouse, tested or vaccinated, could come along.
