We just finished up a midweek stay. It was our first Hyatt stay since becoming Globalists so we had high hopes for an amazing suite upgrade (LOL) Here are my impressions:
* Self park only, no valet (self park was $40ish a night I think?)
* We were there on a Wednesday night and the hotel seemed pretty empty. At checkin we were thanked for our Globalist status and were told we were given an upgraded room- Room 1218 (nice view of Sunset but other than that an unremarkable 2 Queen room)
* Mini bars are not stocked due to Covid- instead there is a table in the lobby of bottled water and granola bars- we were told to help ourselves.
* Pool was pretty empty. There is a bar up there but it was closed (not sure if this is because of Covid or just because we were up there on a Wednesday at like 3pm)
* For free breakfast we ordered to go from Riot House and just brought it back up to the room. We were told we could order anything we wanted off the breakfast menu (about 5 or so options) - no issue with this coming off our bill after checkout. Breakfast was pretty tasty.
* All in all the stay was fine. Not amazing, not horrible. I had higher hopes for a room upgrade but meh oh well.
