I have a PCR option and a rapid antigen option, and obviously prefer the rapid one. 15 mins in and out--even though I hear rave reviews about the PCR here, but why wait 24 hours and even go back and get results for no reason. It's 10 more EGP for the rapid, but that is .64. I was concerned only about QR being picky, a random GA not understanding the USA not being strict with type, etc. Based on this, I may just print the USA requirement from IATA, in case of that, and go for the rapid.

While I am here, thanks for all the QR input. Qsuites are a DREAM, and I felt like royalty. Seriously, I about fell over when they handed me pajamas and asked me "would you like to change into your loungewear now?" The shower in Doha was divine after 15 hours on a plane. Glad to see some places don't use COVID as an excuse to stop providing amenities.
Thanks for the write up! I’m headed to Egypt in July. Do you mind me asking where you got your COVID test in Cairo? I’m flying LAX-DOH-CAI on QR and back with Emirates CAI-DXB-LAX with a short stopover in DXB, so I’ll need to have a test going to Dubai.
