5 adults, one teen but to be honest - I’d prefer privacy!
In which case I'd be leaning towards the AA flights booked as a BA flight number / codeshare. Seating 1-2-1 and semi private (no door like Club Suite) but comfortable.... and you can pre-assign seats without charge. You can book those either as a flight only on ba.com or as part of a BA Holiday (flight+ car or flight+hotel). This would allow you to pay a deposit now and the balance 3 weeks before you fly. You'd also benefit from earning additional Avios on the value of the booking 1 Avios for every £1 spent on top of any BA Amex promotions. Also you'd still have the option to cancel for a voucher in the similar way a flight only would. Even if you don't need the car or hotel it's worthwhile pricing up the flight+car option for the smallest compact car option and then simply not bother turning up to collect the car.
