most fish tacos that I see in this style are breaded. I prefer fish tacos not breaded so am curious. I can’t order these at restaurants because of the preparation (so I would get other taco flavors instead)
Just dry dredged in a flour-salt-pepper-chili powder mix and pan sautéed in peanut oil.

I'm really surprised that breaded fish tacos are so popular in San Francisco. I can't think of a single place in Chicago that sells breaded fish tacos -- here it's a pretty even split between grilled fish tacos and battered fish tacos.
