I prefaced my comment by saying 'assuming the flight is on time' so that takes care of any weather delays. If the flight is on time the OP will be out of the aircraft moments after the doors open leaving plenty of time to get from gate to gate. If the flight is not on time all bets are off. I would accept this risk provided that (a) I had a backup plan or (b) it didn't matter too much if I had to wait 12-24 hours for another flight. This isn't my first rodeo through MIA either.
