The Rubber Stamping Committee is back to rubber stamping, approving of the government's plan to extend the deadline of all existing emergency declarations to align with Okinawa's June 20th date.

The provisions are essentially the same, although the national government is asking local governments to implement the "order" on eating/drinking establishments that do not comply with business reduction/closure requests, and for local governments to gradually wind down the extra provisions put in place by prefectures seeing a decrease in cases (such as the full closure request of non-essential parts of department stores as seen in Tokyo and Osaka)

Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba will also see their manbos extended to June 20th. Those prefectures do not seem to be reducing the areas covered; in fact, Kanagawa will likely be adding cities like Hiratsuka and Odawara to the list.

Not quite. Gunma, Ishikawa, and Kumamoto mambo ending remains June 13th.
