Probably because Shinsegae (owner of the Westin Josun Seoul, Westin Josun Busan, and the Josun Palace) wants to have the Josun name on all of their hotels. Even the Four Points Seoul Station is now named as the Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Station which they also own. I think the only Marriott hotel they own that doesn't have the Josun name is the new Gravity Autograph Collection hotel which is located a bit south of Seoul.
That at least explains the branding, but they're still being more than a bit deceptive in the way they describe this hotel. They're pretty clearly trying to make people either think this
is the original 1914 property, or at least that it's the successor hotel, on the site of it.
