Yes that's just Mexican airlines and shouldn't have anything to do with current pricing anyway as it was just announced. It really does seem to be a combination of lower supply and higher demand, flights are extremely full. Also, airlines may be reticent right now to sell many low fares in advance until they get a clearer picture of what the demand will look like post summer. So, to answer your question, yes they COULD drop in price, and there would be some logic behind it, but demand could keep up, europe could reopen so airlines use excess capacity there, and in that case maybe prices don't go down.
