Suggest you call the Kimpton Shorebreak direct to ask. Amenity/resort fee policies seem to differ, especially at Kimptons. Sometimes it's just a matter of who checks you out, so arbitrary. Both hotels charge for parking. If it matters to you, the IC is a longer walk back to the hotel from the parking garage (about a block away). If you're Ambassador IC will upgrade your room sometimes more than one level, especially on Monday when occupancy should be low.
