I have just received the first one, called "FD Mileage Summary October 2004" (in the subject line) or "FD Mileage Summary October/November 2004 (in the text). It lists transactions over a two week period ending August 3! There is also a box with "Your current personal data", containing the number of flights; level and award miles; and opening and closing balances. The first three figures shown only reflect the two week transaction period, so I now suddenly have only four qualifying flights, 2000 level and 8000 award miles plus a completely incomprehensible opening balance of 2,250 miles. Fortunately, there's also a link to my online statement, so a sanity check is only one click away.

A good idea, but the execution . . . .
