If you’re into NYC nightlife then keep in mind you’ll be beholden to the PATH (unless you take a fairly expensive Uber).

The PATH is fine if you’re going to be mainly visiting FiDi or midtown, bur anywhere else will involve a connection to a subway / bus / Uber to get where you actually want to go. The PATH schedule is also abysmal at night. It becomes super unreliable. It still “runs” (except when it doesn't...), just very unpredictably.
