Thanks for the detailed review. Actually had Phoenician booked for last weekend but when concierge told me cabanas sold out 3 weeks ahead of the booked stay, I had a gut feeling it was going to be packed at pool and maybe we should switch properties. Cancelled and rebooked RC Dove Mountain and had a great time, wasn't packed at all and service was generally outstanding.
