update:

Just completed the trip and had no issues. The flight from AUG to BOS got in on time seamlessly, in fact about 10-15 mins early. With no check-in bags on me, it was an easy 5 min walk from the gate (I don't think I came up in C27 - think it was another gate) to the other side of the terminal (C16). Still had about a half hour to kill. Too early for a drink, but plenty of time.
