In my personal opinion, I think when the Polaris lounges open I think benefits will go down and access will be increased. The quality will go down to flagship lounges and access will be expanded to PS routes or whatever their called now, and GS on International flights to make up for the loss of the GFL benefit.
Opening up PL access to PS routes would be a mistake. The EWR PL has already trended toward UC's zoo like atmosphere, in particular before the evening bank of INTL departures. EWR runs up to something around 28-30 flights to LAX and SFO daily, and with widebody J capacity up to 50, that's going to be crazy in the PL.
