I had a very, very tough time at DCA this morning, even after check-in, walking with just a small fairly light carryon and a laptop. It did not go well. Today is a bad day, as I'm realizing my traveling days are coming to end, unless I utilize wheel chair assistance. Given some of the recent threads on this topic, I'm not holding out alot of hope.

Most immediately am concerned about my connecting flight in Charlotte to PLS, but don't have any info yet on arriving/departing gates.

Is there any way at this late juncture (DCA to CLT is boarding now) to get assistance at Charlotte if I need it? Realize this is probably slim to none but nothing lost by asking.
