New W looks interesting, but the early reviews are beyond terrible. I've never loved the city west of Russell St, or Southbank particularly. Thinking PH might be the best option?
Also kind of intrigued by Zagame's House and what seems to be a reinvented Adelphi, if anyone has had any experiences there!
I haven't tried the W yet and my general thoughts haven't changed much since post #3 of this thread.
I did arrange a stay for my parents at PH in a diplomatic suite about a year ago and they did enjoy it but you really do need to be into that classical style.
I think the suites at the GH are held in higher regard though ? That was my first preference for them actually, but the hotel was not yet operational (as it hasn't reopened after the first COVID lockdown).
