Sorry but I disagree in this context. I always carry my driver's license, but I don't show it unless the reason is something involving a motor vehicle. Random TSA agent and bartenders don't need to know my home address.

OTOH, many TSA agents push back when a GE card is presented as ID and claim not to know what it is.

My solution is to use my passport card as my basic photo ID and carry it all the time.
