The whole notion that Aeroplan is a Loyalty program is false - it has morphed into nothing more than a Air Miles frequent shopper program. I am amazed that Aeroplan has forgotten its roots -

Gotta run and go to Future Shop and see what I can buy, because I can't book my airline seats months in advance
