Not sure if this is the right forum (I debated between AmEx and the Luxury Hotels) but wondering if you have any guidance.

We are booked in a Family Room at the Rosewood London late this year. I want to take advantage of their in room baby proofing and a few of the other child friendly items (cribs, etc). I would normally request this in advance but because we booked a FHR rate I believe there is the chance of an upgrade. Will making a request like this hurt our chances of being upgraded at check in?
