ok, I'm new here so I shouldn't push it too much, I know but I got another question.

I'm planning a trip FRA-DAR (tansania, central africa) on LH miles. Since LH doesn't fly there, I would have to fly FRA-JHB-DAR.

Currently, I had to book 2 awards with LH for SA flights: FRA-JHB-FRA and JHB-DAR-JHB. With SA entering Star Alliance, will this (indirect) flight be regarded as a "Europe - Central Africa" flight (which of course costs less miles!) or still as 2 awards even if no Star carrier offers a direct routing?
