Chileno has TWO beaches, one (the smaller) is private. The public beach there is on the other side of the cliff formation. I like Chileno but unlikely to return as it is geared to well-heeled families. The same is true of O&O Palmilla which is muy tipico and reflects its Mexican heritage. Esperanza is a good choice but needs a revamp. Don’t know the Montage.

I am a fan of the Signature villas at Las Ventanas but, alas, the cost is gobsmacking. And, lacks a swimmable beach.
