Sure, there are lots of better ways to use the $10 credit than breakfast. My point is, when a published Gold/Diamond benefit is complimentary breakfast, yet the means to do so are not provided, it feels cheap. "Because COVID" is no longer a concern when the hotel is at 100% capacity (which they stated when I checked in). Simply raising the credit to be something like $20 pp would actually make it useful.
