The original post, and the blog post it referenced, seem to have overstated the Hilton announcement. The official announcement does not say they are eliminating breakfast. It does say that they will be providing a F&B credit (no amount is listed in the official announcement) that guests can choose in lieu of the elite status breakfast benefit. This announcement does not say that they are ending breakfast at those hotels like ES and HI that provide it to all guests. If that is happening then we need to wait for another announcement but that is not happening due to this announcement.
