That sucks, but on my last four Hilton stays, the breakfast situation was:
- Hilton property- no F&B ops so nothing offered for breakfast
- HGI- no F&B ops so nothing offered for breakfast
- Tapestry- no F&B ops in the morning, so nothing offered for breakfast
- Tapestry- literally a coffee, a juice and a muffin
So it's a true downgrade for those properties that are still offering real breakfast, but at the same time an upgrade for those properties that aren't offering anything for breakfast. Although $15 per room seems pretty stingy, $30 per room would be more reasonable as it would actually cover something for two people.
