Just returned from a Dubai stay with mixing hotels. Ritz, JW, and on the Soft opening Day the St. Regis.

Hotel is very clean, brandnew and checkin was smooth as usual in any St. Regis. Rooms are comparable to St. Regis Bangkok (just new). Service was amazing, no problems and everything went smooth. Even latecheckout at 22pm was given.
The Hotel is great, as it is part of the new Nakheel Mall with 300 shops. If you walk out of the St. Regis on the left is Bateel an amzing store for Dates and on the right side there is my favorite DIN TAI FUNG

Shops in the mall are 3 star brands, so no Patek, gucci, prada etc. more like HM, Omega, and many normal peoples brand. So great for families with kid there. Many food options in the mall.

Suites were not ready, as the hotel was only operating one floor, and I was one of the few guests. The 2nd day, there were many Dubai official walking around and talking pictures with reporters.

Its a beautiful hotel and my new option when I decided to stay near palm and not downtown.
