Looking forward to seeing how this resort compares. We just booked 6 nights following our upcoming stay at the Al Maha in Dubai the week before and over new year. Coming from the states we thought it would be best to link the two destinations together. The points value here seems too good- make me wonder-

That said, for the meantime, we are keeping our reservation for the W that same week as there isn’t much at this time to know enough about the property. So far I have only seen artist renderings and what appears to be unusually close overwater bungalows- a stark contrast to the bungalows we stayed in at the Conrad Bora Bora just a few months ago. Is there any privacy? Hopefully in early September we will start seeing some trip reports as to the quality of the resort and will be able to make a decision as to which Maldivian reservation to keep!
