I'm guessing you're not flying F on your own money at full price - or even half price - because I doubt you'd be so generous.
It'll be interesting how they decide to position F going forwards. It's always been just improved J experience, rather than proper first class product along the lines of Air France or the Lufthansa Group.
It's not just the food or the wine that need to be improved; it's the whole end-to-end service that needs to be rethought.
Now that they've finally reduced both the seat count on board, and the number of F-equipped aircraft,
if they wanted to there will now be few enough first class passengers to make service scalable and thus into a properly competitive product again. That would increase costs, and require actual investment. Let's see what happens.
