Thanks. Basically, I am certain on the departure date, hence the "I fare" but not on the return. That's why I wanted to book a business flex (D) for the inbound that could allow me to change for free the return date if needed. (Unless most restrictive fare conditions apply).
Generally the most restrictive conditions apply. After departure there would be no repricing so if your ok with paying the change fee on the I fare then just book the fare and change the inbound after departure.
