It gets more complicated regarding breakfast. At some brands (see the wiki at the beginning of this thread), daily breakfast in the restaurant for Member + Guest is an option you can choose INSTEAD OF 1000 points. At other brands, daily breakfast in a SEPARATE benefit under the lounge access benefit.

The Skopje property is branded as a Marriott Hotel. It's not a resort. It doesn't have a concierge lounge. As a Platinum Elite member, you should be asked at check-in if you prefer 1000 points or the local equivalent of a USD$10 food and beverage credit as your Welcome Gift. In addition, because the property does not have a lounge, you should be asked at check-in if you prefer continental breakfast for two (which is actually full breakfast at most properties) in the restaurant or 750 points per day. Because your rate already includes breakfast for two, you would want to choose the 750 points per day.

I can't tell if you already checked in. If you were not offered these Elite benefits at arrival, then you can (and should) ask for USD$100 compensation. The penalties are there because Marriott wants properties to provide the promised benefits.

See the Marriott Bonvoy Terms & Conditions: https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/terms/default.mi

Note: During the global pandemic, there have been temporary changes at many properties (including entirely closed restaurants), but all properties should still offer Elite benefits, adjusted to the reality of the situation.
Thanks!

I was proactively offered the 1000 points; this in addition to the full breakfast and 750 MKD toward the restaurant since the lounge is closed. Not bad.
