ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) - A man's body was found early Friday in the
wheel well of an American Airlines jet from Miami landing at
Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
Police in Michigan and Florida are working to identify the man,
described as black and in his 20s. His body was found about 1 a.m.
by an airport worker after passengers had disembarked. The cause of
death was not immediately known, said Detroit Metro spokeswoman
Barbara Hogan.
Hogan said the flight originated in the Caribbean. She said it
left Miami about 9:45 p.m. EDT Thursday and landed at Detroit Metro
about 12:50 a.m.
It happens on a regular basis at London area Airports even to the point of the bodies falling out when the wheels are downloaded before landing which means the body drops into somebodies Back Yard. So be carefull when you are weeding the garden.
