? Using AAdvantage miles for BA intra-Europe ticket (no AA status) - lounge access?

Hi All

For some reasons unclear to me by now I've signed up to an AA Advantage account a few years ago and I have about 30k points, mostly given to me by AA for delays when I had to stay a night longer in LAX as their airplanes went tech before my return to LHR.

I am thinking of what to do with these miles and I am contemplating to book a BA Y return LHR to SKG in case the ticket will be rather expensive when I need to buy it- need to fly in June for a medical treatment and we need to book rather ad-hoc (say 3 days before departure).

I believe I will get a AA ticket and a BA record locator so I can check in online + the ticket will be issued by AA so won't show my OneWorld status.

My question is - any chance I can get lounge access at LHR if I show them kindly my BA card on my app, despite I am flying on a AA award ticket?
I am also wondering if there is any chance for seat selection, but I believe I would need to buy my emergency row seat in this case?

Many thanks as usual
D
