Pre CV19 AA flew LAX-AKL every day. And AA had plans to fly DFW-AKL (22:30-07:00) & LAX-CHC (23:30 - 09:25) seasonally.
US to LHR to Singapore/Australia would not competitive for BA given the other more direct options (twice the distance via LHR)
AA-BA have a trans Atlantic joint venture.
