I was given a 4pm late checkout in the Conrad Dubai a few weeks ago..I had an evening flight and was given 4pm without hesitation. I was even told I could use the lounge after that for drinks/food at 6pm. I also got a 6pm checkout once in Turkey when I had a late flight, so it is possible.
