It seems like Google Fi is quite competitive and I'm strongly leaning on signing up for use in Europe and Asia.
T-mobile has free international roaming at 128Kbps or 256Kbps (depends on the plan). But you could also purchase international data pass for LTE speed. 1 day (500MB) for $5, or 7 days (5GB) for $35, or 30 days (15GB) for $50. It is actually cheaper than Fi's basic data plan @$10/GB. Now if you travel a LOT, then the $50/line unlimited Fi plan is great!
