Just to clarify from my experience with some Hyatt property, certain property outsource certain services.
* often parking / garaging is subcontracted via 3rd Party
* Some restaurant are independent restaurant situated at the hotel and pay rent. They often have an arrangement where guests can charge meals (and probably offset against the restaurant's rent) rather than Hyatt owned food venue.
* Some hotels have spa services that are owned by 3rd party who pays rent and maybe a small percentage to the hotel, but the hotel does not have ownership interest in the spa. Alternatively, sometime message therapists are individual contractors to the hotel rather than their employees.
* in-house movie I think are provided by some video on demand companies.
* sometimes wireless internet access or internet access are 3rd party.

I think Hyatt is taking the policy that if they don't own it and it is contracted out to 3rd party, it does not give GP points. They are somewhat within their reason to do that since it is not their revenue but if they do, there should be a page at each hotel's facilities book (could be in the room) that would clearly outline what is an eligible charge and what is not so guests can make their decisions accordingly.

Just my 2cents..
