Also, I cycle the cards (even though I’m not sure this helps at all) and I can close 5 and open another 5 in the same day.

Tried to sign up for another Amex BB card and they said that my email was already in the system and would not proceed further until I changed it.
I then changed it to another email and they rejected my application.......again.
So I remain with a single Amex BB card
I have no idea how I managed to get the one card I have since it appears that they still have me blackballed otherwise
