In March 2022 my daughter and I will be flying CLT - YYZ on AC arriving in Terminal 1 I believe at 820PM. The next morning we fly at 10:20AM YYZ - ADD - VFA on Ethiopian which I believe is also terminal. Both segments are in business class and we are US citizens.

Which Bonvoy hotel would you suggest for this short overnight layover at YYZ? For reference I am a Titanium member. I believe if we stay at the Sheraton Gateway (35,000 bonvoy points) which is the most convenient we still would have to take an inter-terminal train to get there. I have heard the Four Points by Sheraton (17,500 bonvoy points) is walking distance from the airport and we would be open to a short walk especially to save 17,5000 bonvoy points.

We would probably have already eaten dinner in CLT prior to our flight and in the morning could do breakfast in the hotel or at whichever lounge we would have access to at Terminal 1. My top priorities are a) a short commute from airport -> hotel -> airport, b) reasonable value for money of bonvoy points -> c) a comfortable room for the night and shower before 18 more hours of plane travel.

Would you suggest one of those two properties or maybe even one of the others which requires use of a shuttle? I would like to avoid a shuttle if at all possible given we are going to Africa and won't have warm weather gear with us beyond a rain jacket. I don't mind a short walk in the cold outside with only a light jacket but want to avoid a long walk or waiting on a shuttle in the cold.
