I was looking at making an Amex 241reward booking just now. I had thought that you could make changes to the return flight until 24 hours before that flight?

But the T&Cs now state quite clearly that changes to either flight can only be made until 24 hours prior to the initial outbound departure. I know this was the case a few years back but I had thought it had changed to be more flexible.

Is this a recent revisions or am I missing something here?
