Hello I was wondering if you folks could explain the tax/costs to me. I've booked a BAH in the sale from Inverness to JFK and 3 nights' hotel
I upgraded from W to J for avios and no extra charge
My wife just made a flight only booking (same flights) in W and went to upgrade with Avios too but there was a £190 charge which was described by the phone agent as taxes.
Is this correct? My upgrades also covered the short haul flights but my wife's didn't.
