They also didn’t recognize being a globalist. The manager offered the champagne, it was not expected. He told me he would make sure we were well taken care of. But then they didn’t give the champagne he said he would, instead giving a couple bottles of nice water and a few strawberries. I don’t go to hotels demanding suites or fancy champagne, but I do expect a hotel this expensive to be attentive to detail, and to keep their word without needing to ask and remind them.
I also gave the Grand Hyatt Tampa as a recent example... But I’ve stayed in plenty of high end hotels comparable to PHNY. If cheaper hotels like Grand Hyatt Tampa can personalize and pay attention to detail, Hyatt’s flagship hotel should be exceeding that level of service. The point I mentioned my spend is not to compare to you or anyone else, but rather to say I’m not a “Globalist Lite” or a Globalist through CC spend. That was all.
Hopefully you have a great stay.
This hotel's flagship status is in name only. Nothing here is world beating and they just don't consistently care.
