I'm guessing the current shift to Garuda's lounge is temporary. i was sent there some time back when PP was closed.
I mean as mentioned, the QR flights do often occupy the gates closer to the Garuda Lounge (Gate 9/10?), as such the PP lounge's location is not a positive. But the PP lounge is definitely more strategic for passengers on MH flights given the often proximity of the gate to that lounge.
