Agreed! BUD-USA fares always seem pretty attractive. I think it is because there is very little business traffic on the routes (if comparing to VIE, MUC, etc.). It is almost exclusively leisure, and much of that is package (thus discounted) volume as well.

Through-passengers in the midst of their trips would be, but many of the cruises originate from or terminate in Budapest. The Castle Hilton pretty much had a permanent Viking check-in desk in the main lobby, and I believe I had seen a similar setup at the WestEnd property as well. Passengers will spend a night at the property before kicking off, or after ending, their cruise. It's a huge driver of consistent business (well, when the cruises are running, that is...).
