From all my stays with Accor it was one of the more underwhelming experiences, despite being the most expensive of our road trip. Definitely far below previous Sofitels I had stayed - imo they should rebrand this hotel to a lower category brand. I had booked using a Suite Night Award and was given a Prestige Suite which was spacious, but it was like 1 level above the lobby with views of the parking. Would have preferred a lower category sea view really.
Breakfast was decent but nothing special. Dinner at the restaurant was ok. I remember being a little disappointed in the cocktails quality.
Reception was good/kind and the woman greeting us was lovely, but other than that I wasn't very impressed with staff.
In my opinion it's one of those old hotels that have lost a lot of their glory. Pool area I wasn't the biggest fan of either. I would likely not stay again.
Ouch, I'll keep my my expectations low and hope for a better surprise! Thanks for the mini review!
